The Cact-Eye Chair - Development of the final fabric

The chair has been my main focus, to be able to submit the chair for New Designers it needs to be finished by the 23rd of May to be ready for filming with Jonathon.

The chunky base cover has progressed well. The chunky, ewrapped wool proves really effective in recreating a cacti-like effect. The centre piece of the chair has small, repeated cacti, with uv yarn alternating between rows.

The small cacti will be stuffed with different pom poms to create a more solid surface, compared to the chunky cacti being stuffed with wadding, recycled stuffing and beans.
