Chair Cover Design Development

Working with samples on the chair has really helped my understanding of how the knitted fabric can be manipulated and how the samples sit together as an over all piece.

Things to consider :

- How the samples feel to interact with and sit on

- What stuffing could be used

- Where the sculptural knitting should be placed

- UV placement

- How can the knit emphasise the natural shape of the chair

- Time allowances

- How the knit can be manipulated to fit around the different sections of the chair

- Could I use the chunky or decorative yarns to make a feature of the seams

- Knitting a variety of different sculptural cacti in multiple sizes to create even distribution across the chair
